What is the New Hanbury Project? We are a non residential community that aims to create a safe environment in which people can acquire new skills and discover their self identity, abilities and goals while learning to relate to others at a deeper level. Who is it for? The project is run for those recovering from life controlling problems, mental illness or major life traumas. Referrals are taken from GPs, social workers, hostels and churches. Anyone over the age of 18 is eligible though priority is given to those living in the east of London.
